CREATORS OF “TOMB” TO OPEN TWO NEW INTERACTIVE ENTERTAINMENT EXPERIENCES AT PATRIOT PLACE

ESPIONAGE and 20,000 LEAGUES are 5 Wits’ newest immersive entertainment concepts

Foxborough, Mass. (November 19, 2009) — Patriot Place and 5 Wits, the company behind the wildly successful TOMB in Boston, have announced plans to open two fully-immersive interactive adventure experiences, ESPIONAGE and 20,000 LEAGUES, at the 1.3-million-square foot shopping, dining and entertainment destination in Foxborough, Massachusetts.

Both adventure attractions are scheduled to open in Spring 2010 in Patriot Place’s north lifestyle center, located adjacent to Gillette Stadium.

The hour-long, interactive walk-through adventures will transport guests into fantastic worlds using Disney-caliber set design and special effects. Guests must work in groups to complete a series of puzzles, riddles and tasks. Each decision made by the group affects the storyline and outcome, making the experience different with each visit.

ESPIONAGE will challenge guests to play the role of international secret agent. They will be tasked with completing a dangerous mission to keep precious military secrets from getting into the wrong hands. Working in teams, guests will infiltrate, investigate and unravel the plot.

20,000 LEAGUES will reveal that Captain Nemo and his incredible Nautilus may be more than science fiction. Guests will explore the depths of the sea, solving deadly puzzles and defeating both man and beast to uncover the truth.

The two adventure attractions will be the latest additions to Patriot Place’s varied entertainment offerings, which include the award-winning Hall at Patriot Place presented by Raytheon, a state-of-the-art, 14-screen Cinema de Lux, the first Showcase Live entertainment venue and the 32-acre Nature Trail and Cranberry Bog at Patriot Place.
